Leave the world for as long as you can and walk down to the beautifully landscaped entrance of this cabin, and to your privacy w/ a view, right above the New River. Walk-in from the covered stoop to a foyer, and then into a fabulous kitchen w/ granite counter-tops and the view. It gives a "galley kitchen," new meaning as it opens to a dining area, and the Great Room w/ HW floors, wooden ceilings, and a stone fireplace. Enjoy the mountain view from there, or under the partially covered deck. The MBR, with its BT and HW floors, is located feet away from the pretty GR. Maybe you would prefer to enjoy the loft with its cathedral windows, view and all, along w/ the privacy of a BR and BT right off of it. The cabin's first 2 floors were totally renovated in 2009; however, a downstairs family/den room was completed in 2011. There is yet another deck outside its door and a workshop. The development has a community lake near the top of the mountain, with plenty of places to walk and hike. Its proximity to the vibrant townships of West Jefferson and Jefferson, along with Boone, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, offer a slew of places to explore. When the day is over, it's back to pretty and sweet.
