Live the Dream #32 - Ghost Train

Tweetsie Railroad Ghost TrainDuring the summer months, Tweetsie Railroad is home to some good old fashioned family fun. It shuts down as the hot season sets. But come the nights of October, the theme park rises from the dead to offer scares, stares and bewares to those brave enough to walk its darkened grounds. There are ghouls on the prowl. Zombies around the corner. And a haunted train making rounds around the track. High Country Halloween fun ..... if you dare.

Ghost Train season has returned! Weekends through October the grounds are open nightly for Halloween shows, trick-o-treating, a 3D maze, Black Hole and scares in the Freaky Forest. A holiday party is only short drive away!

The familiar Tweetsie ride becomes not so familiar. A glowing skull breathing fire has taken over the engine. The trek around the park is done in almost pitch black dark. Going over the trestles can be mighty nerve racking when you can't see not just the ground by anything! Then there is a stop or two just to heighten the tension. Zombies! Chain saws! Get me off of here!

Outside the track several locales are distributing candy. There are people dressed in their October 31st best. And you never know when a dance show will suddenly thrill you.
